Large Josef Strnact Art Nouveau Peach Apple Tree Vase

Description

Amazing Josef Strnact Art Nouveau sculptural three dimensional vase depicting fruit on a tree branch. They look like peaches or apples and the background is beautiful too, looking like foliage. Twig handles.  Marked on the bottom with the Strnacht JS in shield mark plus number 1808 and an impressed initial that looks like a P.
12 ½” high x 9” wide from handle to handle. It’s in fine condition for its age with some scuff marks on some fruit and leaves and a couple of small shallow nicks, as shown. The bottom rim is rough in spots and has some glaze loss and a chip.
